Gene Swanstrom

Gene Swanstrom served in the Evangelical Free Church for thirty-two years as a Youth Pastor, Pastor, Assistant District Superintendent, and District Superintendent.   Currently he has served nine years as Director of Placement at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.   Among the classes Gene teaches at TEDS is EFCA History and Polity.
 
He and his wife Jeannie have three children, all of whom are married, and eight grandchildren.   He is ordained by the EFCA.   His leadership experience within the EFCA includes service as Chairman of the Superintendents Council, membership on the Board of Ministerial Standing, Board of Mission USA, EFCA Board of Directors, and Chairman of the EFCA Placement Oversight Committee.
